OUR PROCESS

Machine Sanding
First, we machine sand your headlights to remove oxidation and yellow haze from your polycarbonate headlight lenses. This is done using up to 5 different sanding steps and sand papers.

Machine Polishing
Second, we perfect your headlights by carefully machine compounding them to remove any sanding marks. This is followed by a fine machine polish, which gets them perfectly clear again.

Ceramic Coating
And finally, we protect your newly restored headlights with a ceramic coating engineered specifically for your polycarbonate lenses. This will help maintain their clarity and prevent them from yellowing.

SoCal Headlight Restoration is a division of Octane Detailing, which was founded in 2014 by Chris Woolman. Octane Detailing provides ceramic coatings, paint correction, interior/exterior detailing, and headlight restoration services to clients in the West San Fernando Valley. Professionally trained and certified, Chris ensures that top-quality care is brought to your vehicle without question. Having both in-shop and mobile services makes us a favorable option in the area.

Chris Woolman has been professionally trained and certified by some of the best detailers in the world. He’s worked on some amazing vehicles too, including the Presidential motorcade at the Ronald Reagan Library, the first ever jet-powered Air Force One at the Seattle Museum of Flight, a WWII B-24 Bomber known as Witchcraft, a WWII B-29 Bomber known as T-Square 54, and Squad 51 and Engine 51 from the show Emergency.
